Interview with Frank Kreith / by Russell Castonguay.

Dr. Frank Kreith was hired to work at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in 1945 by Dr. Frank Malina. Dr. Kreith's work at JPL involved experiments in the area of heat transfer. He describes one instance in which there was an accidental explosion in his laboratory. Dr. Kreith describes some of his activities after leaving JPL, including his work in the area of solar energy. He also comments on the political atmosphere of the post-World War II era, when it was not uncommon for employers to require loyalty oaths from some employees.
